Who is Anna Atkins?
Anna Atkins produced the first photographically illustrated book and is recognised as the first female photographer, with her three-volume British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions appearing in instalments from 1843. Atkins used the Cyanotype process which had been invented in 1842 by Fox Talbot’s associate Sir John Herschel. The process involves nothing more than light sensitive paper, sunlight and water. A Pinterest board of her work is shown below. the photographer mainly uses plants and algae to for this pieces.

In my first image i used pictures with holes in them. You can see the shadows in the cassette. I do not like the way that the picture is composed. i think it would look better if there was less blue areas and if there was more different textures . composition opacity texture transparent |

In my second image i tried to use more objects to fill the paper. i think this picture is better than the first because i like the way it has been composed . |
